FORR Bylaws
Congratulations are in Order!
It is my honor to be able to offer my special thanks and congratulations to the Board of Friends of Red Rocks.
With some historical perspective added by Mike Ballard and Cindy Bell, the first real Board has developed a real set of Bylaws that has been molded specifically for Friends of Red Rocks.
The Bylaws will give the organization a framework within which it can operate and grow. The Bylaws also help to ensure the on-going future of the organization by establishing an orderly and regular process for changing leadership.
This is a BIG move for a "grassroots" organization, particularly one that was created because of an adversarial situation. This was NOT an easy process - it shouldn't be - it's important!
I'm happy that the Board has done such a great job of capturing and embedding into these Bylaws so many aspects of the character, conscious and camaraderie that have become such unique attributes of not only our past but now of our future.
